We just got back from the most amazing vacation. We were blessed enough to be able to go to Aruba with my parents and cousin. It was absolute paradise. There is something so serene and calming when you are able to stand with your feet in the sand and look out into the absolute crystal blue water. Wondering if this is the place where the heavens meet the earth. This may sound a little too philosophical but in a place of such great beauty, how could one ever doubt the existence of God? Truly anything that perfect must have been created only by someone so Divine. We had the most amazing time. I know we haven't even been married a year yet and here we are taking another vacation, but we needed it. Marriage is hard. It is certainly the hardest thing that I have ever done. But during this trip I also realized that it was the best thing that I have ever done. Daily life and all of its demands overwhelm us at times. Sometimes we can go an entire day without really connecting. This trip was able to refresh us, almost to a point of giddiness! We made a promise to ourselves that once a year, we will take a vacation together. Not just to stay in love, but to FALL in love. All over again. And realize why we were meant to be together. And for more pictures....don't worry I am working on a video.
SO glad you all had a good time. I'm a bit disappointed that there are only 4 pictures of your tropical paradise.
ReplyDeleteMarriage is hard. Some days more than others, but just remember at the end of the day you always have each other to come home to. Chris loves you soooo much. You are one lucky girl!!!
