Doggie Dip

We belong to a gym that has an outdoor pool. Since fall is quickly approaching and the pool has to be closed for the season, the club decided to throw its first Annual Doggie Dip. In honor of Baylor, we couldn't miss it. The Bear loved the water. And so we took my parents dog, Flanagan. It was an absolute blast. I hadn't laughed that hard in weeks. There had to be over 200 dogs there. Big dogs, little dogs, cute dogs, ugly dogs, dogs with only 3 legs! And it was a free for all. Dogs were swimming in the pool, fetching toys, and romping with each other. There were some dogs that were hesitant to get in the water....and so their loving owners lifted them up and chucked them in! That's right, they threw them right in. It was a beautiful day and the money that was raised went to the Humane Society. It was absolute chaos and Baylor would have loved it. It was a Baylor day!
